Hey y'all,

As we start this spring semester, we wanted to reintroduce ourselves: we're the Campus Environmental Center, or CEC for short. Our mission is simple. We work to empower our campus to pursue sustainability, however that may look. At our core, we value community, collaboration, and action. Our four project teams bring a unique perspective to sustainability: the Environmental Justice Collective centers intersectionality, Green Events pursues zero-waste, Microfarm focuses on food systems, and Trash to Treasure tackles fast fashion. Alongside our project teams, the admin team (that's us, hi!) hosts a speaker series (CEC Connect), pursues community outreach, and keeps day-to-day operations running. And this semester, we have an especially cool project: planning our 20th birthday party! As we celebrate 20 years of student-run environmentalism here at the CEC, we are reflecting on our past and thinking ahead to our future. Join us this semester, so we can build our sustainable future together.

Talk soon,
Claire, Parker, Samhitha, Sophia
Your CEC Admin Team

P.S. We've rebranded - all the content you know and love, just a new look. Shout-out to our Internal Director Parker for his incredible design work!
