What's happening at Foster Carers Association NT?
Meet Conni Warren, the newest member of our team!
Darwin is my home town. I did my schooling, began my adult life and started a family here. I have since lived many years in Katherine and Alice Springs, and a short period overseas.

My career has been based on banking and finance, sales and administration and I have worked in large and small corporations, as a small business owner and for a boarding school.
In my spare time I volunteer with the Australian Air Force Cadets in the area of training.

Throughout my career and in my personal time, I am constantly amazed and excited to see the remarkable young people the Northern Territory is growing up. I am very excited to be coordinating the 2016 National Foster & Kinship Carers Conference in Darwin and look forward to meeting the wonderful people that make up this important sector in our community.

What makes a good case manager?
CREATE, on behalf of the Department of Children and Families is currently consulting with young people 8-17 years old in the greater Darwin region on this important topic. Please ensure the young people in your care have the opportunity to have their voice heard by ensuring they are linked in with CREATE. Young people’s time and opinion is valued and will be reimbursed to reflect this. Those young people who are randomly selected need case manager consent in order to participate.

Any questions or to refer your young people please call CREATE on 8945 9993 or email michelle.barry@create.org.au
SURVEY - How planning for your future is going?
