What Should I Do?
How to Make Good Medical Decisions for Others
It's hard to navigate the healthcare landscape when you're making decisions for another.  The Conversation Project helps people engage in values-based conversations around future medical choices.  In this program, Dr. Jean Abbott will talk about the basics of being a healthcare agent and how to understand options and respect a patient's values.

Dr. Jean Abbott and her family have lived in Boulder since 1975. She has worked in various Emergency Departments in Boulder County and has been an Emergency Medicine physician and faculty member at the CU Health Sciences Center for the past 28 years. For the past 20 years, she has been a member and the lead ethics consultant for the Ethics Committee at University of Colorado Hospital as well as a community member of the Boulder Community Hospital ethics committee.
