Club News
Our first-ever booth at Bellefonte's Fall Festival was a success!
The Garden Club successfully participated in Bellefonte's Fall Festival on Oct. 15  in Talleyrand Park. We shared information about the club, membership sign-up sheets, a display about the Children's Garden, and we sold lots of garden paraphernalia and plants. The Club made more than $171 and sold almost all of the items we had. We also talked to lots of folks about the Garden Club and the Children's Garden. Thank you to everyone who donated plants and garden items. Special thanks to all those who volunteered to work at the booth: Steve Wheeler, Cheryl Fugate, Wilda Stanfield, Fran Nuhfer, Maggie Harlan, Beverly Harader, Jenn McCloskey, and Kathy Crilly.

Bench dedicated to Lt. Col Robt. Barraclough is now in place!
The Club purchased a park bench with a memorial plaque for the new waterfront area, and it is now in place. It is at the Lamb Street bridge end of the new flood wall, and is the first bench you see as you enter the walkway. Walk by and take a look!
