The global conversation on ageism continues with the Ageism through the ages campaign! #AWorld4AllAges

Welcome to Week 6 of the Global Campaign to Combat Ageism's Ageism through the ages initiative!

The campaign started on 1 October (UN International Day of Older Persons) and lasts until 20 November (World Children's Day) to bring attention to ageism as it affects people across all stages of life.

Get involved today by visiting the Ageism through the ages hub on the Decade Platform and engaging with the diverse initiatives, resources, events, and global community.

A global conversation about ageism on social media is taking place throughout Ageism through the ages.

Do you want to stand up against ageism by joining the conversation? Download and use our diverse range of (free!) assets to post on social media. Now is the time to add your voice to the growing global movement to combat ageism! New assets are added every week, so keep checking back.

Don't forget to use the hashtag #AWorld4AllAges for a chance to be featured on the UN Decade of Healthy Ageing Twitter account and the Ageism through the ages hub!

The Slovenian Presidency of the Council is organising an international conference on the issue of ageism, with a special emphasis on the promotion of the rights of people of all ages. Participants of the conference will seek solutions in intergenerational cooperation and discuss how to cultivate lifelong perspectives on ageing.

Master Class on Ageism at the IFA's 15th Global Conference on Ageing

As a conference framed entirely around the UN Decade of Healthy Ageing's framework of global collaboration, the International Federation on Ageing's (IFA) 15th Global Conference on Ageing features ageism throughout its programme.

A Master Class on Ageism is being organised as a part of the conference. Don't worry if you can't make it! The UN Decade of Healthy Ageing Twitter account will be live tweeting key insights from the session.
