We'll certainly be popping a few corks tonight, and invite you to join the celebrations with us. If this was your birth year, you have a relative turning 80  – or if you'd like something unusual for Christmas – tell us what you most enjoy about our newsletter and it could be yours! »

We're also celebrating another milestone – exceeding a million visitors a year to our website! It's no surprise that lots of people love to visit vineyards and wine regions, they are beautiful and fun places! We love sharing them with you, and once again, thanks for your support.

So scroll down to see what other treats spring brings you, plus news, reviews, events and some digital and social media marketing tips for the wine and food producers in our midst.

Plan travel around festivals to sample a whole region!

Just 3½ hours drive from Sydney lies the cool climate wine region of Orange. With a growing reputation for quality wine and food to match plus a very active community keen to showcase their wares, Orange should be high on a wine traveler's destination list.

Pick late October/early November and you'll have a veritable smorgasbord laid out with a wonderfully diverse and large program for the Orange Wine Festival planned »

Tasmania does Festivals well, from the Taste on Hobart's waterfront over the New Year to Festivale in Launceston. But if you'd prefer some long white beaches and sparkling blue waters as you sip and savour, then the East Coast's Bicheno Wine & Food Festival in November might be more your style. There's plenty of wineries (and a brewery) along the way too! »

Head off to wine & food country right here »
