August Cocktails & Late Summer Fun

We hope your summer has included some outdoor fun, indoor relaxation and lots of sunshine so far! August is always a fun month here at the distillery - we love playing with farmers market finds this time of year, and thinking about ways to incorporate them into our cocktails. Keep an eye out for some fun surprises coming up!

We're also continuing to enjoy great cocktails with visitors on our cocktail patio, as well as indoors in our tasting room. Reservations are not required, but we suggest making them, especially on the weekend or if you want to sit outside, since our patio seating is limited. You can either book online or by phone at 847.574.2499. Please let us know whether you prefer to be outdoors or indoors when you book. Our current menu is posted here.

We are being as safe as possible, and following all of the relevant guidance from health authorities, but if you're not yet ready to venture out for cocktails, check out our cocktail kits down below for all your cocktailing at home!

Cocktail Kits, Store & Curbside Pickup

• Classic Smash - this kit is very customizable - you choose which spirit is in your kit, which comes with mint simple made from fresh mint grown in our distillery garden, either fresh lemon juice or lemons to juice at home, as well as a lemon and a sprig of mint for garnishing!
   
• Earl's Mule - a twist on the refreshing classic, with Sol Chamomile Citrus Vodka, fresh lemon, Earl Grey simple & ginger beer.
   
• That Summer Feelin' - quintessential summer flavors of watermelon & mint are paired with fresh lime & North Shore Vodka in this summer sipper!
   
• Fresh Berry Fizz - fizzy & bright, and a little on the lighter side for when you want to take it easy. Way better than a hard seltzer, this cocktail features our North Shore Vodka, an assortment of fresh berries, fresh lemon & club soda.

• This Week, 7/31 - 8/9 - Lake County Restaurant Rally - We're participating in this celebration of Lake County's food & drink, to help support those businesses during this time! • Tomorrow, Thursday 8/6 - Flight Night - Flight Night continues! This week we're bringing you summer deliciousness with watermelon cocktails, and next week we'll be in the tropics. Keep an eye on our social media for each week's theme.
   
• Wednesday 8/19, 7 pm - Boozy Book Club - This month's Boozy Book Club selection is John Barleycorn by Jack London

• Branding Updates & New Looks - In our latest general newsletter, we shared the details of a big initiative we're working on this year, and the changes have begun - our new North Shore Gin No. 6 is out now and rolling out across the Midwest.
