Below are the Visitation and Mass of Christian Burial live stream links, for Very Rev. Michael J. Dobbins, V.F.

We would like to clarify the email that was sent out yesterday evening.
First- ALL are welcome to attend all the hours from1pm tomorrow up until the time to escort Father to Sacred Heart, following our Daily Mass on Friday morning.

Secondly, due to the limited seating, and COVID restrictions, we are trying to maximize the seating, while also realizing that so many parishioners, and others will want to pay their respects, to our beloved Pastor. We are encouraging those who are able, to watch the Visitation for the Dobbins Family (5pm-7:30pm), and the Vigil for the deceased (7:30pm) via live stream at home, or in St. John the Evangelist and Hanley Hall- so that the Main Church, may be available for the Dobbins Family, their friends, visiting clergy, and other visitors. There is also the possibility of having a projector near the fire pit (between the rectory and the church) that will stream the Visitation and Vigil for the Deceased.

For the Mass of Christian Burial, we encourage parishioners to reach out to Sacred Heart for seating arrangements, if you would like to attend the Mass. Their phone number is 540-662-5858. St. John Bosco will also be streaming the Mass of Christian Burial, via our usual sources (Website, YouTube, Facebook).

Visitation for the Dobbins Family

The Visitation for the Dobbins Family will begin at 5pm

Vigil for the Deceased will begin at 7:30pm

Seating in the main church during the Visitation for the Dobbins Family, is prioritized for the Dobbins Family and friends first, before opening to others.

The Parish Office of St. John Bosco, will be closed both, Thursday November 19th and Friday, November 20th.
In an order to not cause distraction during Mass and to create a more seamless look, we have now put a single brown ribbon between the pews, that can not be used during COVID.
Please be advised of this new arrangement.
