Let us know how we can pray for you
Hello, Friend!

I hope that this letter finds you finally enjoying some spring time weather! Sarah and I have had a hard time escaping winter. We are currently in northern PA. The day after we arrived in PA, it snowed five inches! No matter the weather, God is always good and we can find his beauty in every place.

Sarah and I have been on the road now since the beginning of March. God has been abundantly good! We have had meetings in North Carolina, Georgia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New York. Thank you for praying for our safety and well being. We have had several churches take us on throughout the past month, and we thank the Lord for that. Thank you for praying that the Lord would work in our lives. We are still praying and working towards the goal of being able to leave as soon as we can in the beginning of 2016. We would be grateful for your prayers along the same line.

Well, there is one thing that is certainly on our hearts at the moment as we travel and prepare to get to Chuuk. Saturday, April 28 (our time), Chuuk was hit with typhoon Maysak devastating the island of Weno as well as many of the outer islands. We know that there are at least five dead and many more wounded. Our hearts are heavy for our people that we so long to be with. This situation once again clarifies the certainty that this island group must be reached. Five souls have gone off into eternity, and they may never have even had the chance to hear the Gospel. Simply put: Sarah and I must get to Chuuk as fast as possible.

Please keep the Colson family in your prayers at this time. They are veteran missionaries serving in Chuuk. The Lord protected them and their radio towers, but they have much work to do as they help the people of the island. Also, please be praying for Grace International Baptist Church, the church with which we will be working. We know that they are well, but we still wish we were with them.

We know that everything is in God's timing, but we also know that He has called us to actually be in Chuuk working. This incident just reminds us of our burden and calling to be there.

God is always good, perfect, and wise. We are excited to be serving Him while we are on our way to Chuuk. Thank you for your continued prayers and support. This ministry is not possible without the body of Christ. We are grateful for you. Keep your eyes on Him as you serve in your own mission field.

Until the Islands Know Him,
Josh and Sarah

April 2015

This is the first time we have put a PDF file in. If it does not work, please let me know! I believe it should, but don't hesitate to let me know if it does not.
We had the privilege of meeting and staying with Mr. and Mrs. Hubler in Keamer, PA. We are grateful for the new friends.
