Ever Closer

Our Dear Praying Friend,

Hello! I hope that all is going well with you on your end of everything. I know that we are getting ready to enter the "busy season" of the year. Sarah and I are so grateful that on top of all of the responsibilities that you have, you choose to continue to pray for us and to support us. We are so grateful for that.

We are doing well on our end. It has been a very busy month and a half. Sarah and I traveled together for a few meetings in September, but she had to return to VA shortly afterwords in order to keep up with baby appointments. So, I have been on the road by myself now for about five weeks. I have been in some amazing meetings and the Lord is growing our support!

Honestly, to take time to name every meeting and talk about each individual that has encouraged me along the way these past few weeks would be far more than one letter could hold. Everywhere from West Virginia to PA to OH has had some sort of meaningful memory. Sarah and I are still waiting on some specific numbers, but it is safe to say that we are now over 60% if my calculations are correct! Thank the Lord! We are so encouraged to see our support continue to increase.

I will be going home (finally) on November 9 in order to prepare for Milena's arrival. We are less than three weeks out! I know that many of you have been praying earnestly for us as we prepare for her to come. God has supplied all we need. In fact, let me share a really neat testimony. Sarah has been saving up for a special rocking chair that she really wanted. Just this past week at a missions conference I was in, the church gave us $400 in Baby's R Us cards to buy this chair! There is a lot more detail to the story, but suffice it to say that God really did something special for Sarah.

I am sure that by the end of the month you will have received more letters from Sarah and me with all kinds of pictures of our little one. Thank you for caring and thank you for praying. Please continue to pray that the Lord would increase our support. When we reach 75% (and that should be soon), I am planning on making a trip to Chuuk to start looking for house. If you could keep that in prayer, that would be a blessing. You, my friend, are such an important facet to our ministry. Thank you for your prayers. We are grateful for you.

I was able to stay a few days in Philly with my dear friend, Logan. He was able to join me at one of my meetings.
I love being able to meet new friends - especially kids! These two were quite fun to be around!
This was one of the most unique experiences I have had. I was able to stay in the same missions house with Joey Cosme, a Filipino missionary, and Emmanuel Abotchi, a Togolese missionary. We had a wonderful time of fellowship over the few days we were together.
