MEMORIES OF GRANDMA
Fall brings such fond memories of harvest and all that our wonderful valley offers. Grandma came from the era that everything you could grow or raise was used to get you through the winter and nothing was wasted. I learned to can the fruits and vegetables grown in the garden or from valley farmers. I still enjoy canned tomatoes in winter stews and soups. Do you get drawn in by those sights and smells? I'm not sure were this recipe originated but by grandma made this dessert in the winters with her canned pears. Your kitchen will smell incredible!!!
