Summer Learning 2021 & Fall Orientations for the 2021-2022 School Year 

Titans Students, Families and Supporters,

As we wrap up the final days of the 2020-2021 school year, we applaud all of our students who demonstrated a "stick-with-it-ness" beyond what seemed possible at times.  We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our families and the entire Alexandria City community who showed us grace, patience, unequaled partnership and compassion as we adapted to uncertainty and "pivoted" to meet the demands of new situations and information. And most importantly, we congratulate our Class of 2021 graduates. We are so very proud of each of  our Titans and wish them all the very best.

As we head into the summer, here are a few important dates that you might find helpful:

Alexandria City High School
On July 1, 2021, our school's name will officially become Alexandria City High School.  We will still be the Titans.

Summer Learning 2021
Dates:  July 6 - July 29
In-person and virtual options
Last Day to Register: Friday, June 25 (Contact your school counselor)

School Counselors Return: Fall 2021
School counselors will return to school on Monday, August 10 to answer any questions or concerns, including those related to courses and schedules. We know how important high school schedules are to students which is why we devote this time to helping students and families work through any kinks and settle in to the new school year. 

Alexandria City High School Orientations
Mark your calendars! Students and their families are invited to join us for the 2021-22 High School Orientations in August!  Meet your school counselor, Learning Academy and Team Administrator and other members of our amazing Titan staff, tour the school and receive information about available services and resources. Interpreters will be available.

Rising 10th-12th Graders and all International Academy Students & Families

Time:  TBA  (Morning, Evening and Virtual Offering)
Minnie Howard Campus (3801 W Braddock Road)
Rising 9th Graders & Families

Time:  10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Attend at a Time that Works Best for You (In-person)
Satellite Campus (1340 Braddock Place, 2nd Floor)
Satellite Students & Families
Date:  Thursday, August 19
Time:  5 p.m. - 7 p.m. (In-person) and Virtual Offering: TBA
