December 2020

Dear Titans,

As we begin a much needed Winter Break, let’s celebrate the courage, determination and flexibility we showed as individual Titans and as a school community. During 2020, we tackled new ways of attending school, learning remotely, showing our school spirit, advocating for social change and connecting with each other.

Holidays are frequently a time of both celebration and strife and will likely be even more so this year. Experiencing mixed feelings is very common and normal. Be patient and kind and extend grace to yourself and others. Set aside some time to relax, recharge and enjoy activities that bring you joy.

All Department of School Counseling offices, including the College and Career Center, are closed for Winter Break beginning Monday, December 21. We will reopen on Monday, January 4, 2021.

We wish you a safe holiday that is filled with peace, good will and good health.

On behalf of the Department of School Counseling,

Melissa Deak
Director of School Counseling
