Efficiency Maine has been in the news, thanks to a clerical error that could cost the organization $38 million beginning in July 2016. A simple fix - inserting the infamous missing "and" and restoring full funding - was easily approved by the Maine House of Representatives, but could face a political battle in the Senate and a veto from Governor Paul LePage.
