2015 in Review

January - NATC HISTORY MONTHTo celebrate the 6 month earmark to TCA's first North American Taiko Conference, we took a ride down memory lane and counted down to the big event with the history of NATC
June - North American Taiko Conference!!: NATC 2015 happened on June 11-14 in Las Vegas, NV. Elise Fujimoto served as the fearless Conference Coordinator. It was a successful event and an incredible accomplishment. Check out the link for more pictures!
August - Restructuring of TCA: With a conference, and a year of 501c3 experience behind us, TCA made some changes as we continued into our second year as an official 501c3 nonprofit.
October - TCA Receives $18,000 CAC Grant: In June, TCA received an incredible opportunity for a matching grant. This year's membership drive focused on meeting the match. We'd like to extend our gratitude to former Executive Director, Bruce Davis, Linda Uechi, and Sue Yuen for working on this
November - Taikothon 2015!:  Taikothon traveled down to Los Angeles for 2015 and featured "Taikoppreciation" messages and performance videos submitted by groups from around the world!  Look back at this year's amazing event
December - TCA Recognition: TCA is dependent on its group of volunteers to keep TCA running. It is full of working committee members that meet weekly and monthly to create programs or do maintenance within the organization. TCA's Data team worked extra hard to comb through the membership data and keep it clean!
#TaikoTuesday: Check out our TCA Facebook Page for more information about things that are happening around the taiko community. We also want you to submit your group's events so that all of the taiko community will know! Please check out our YouTube and Livestream to catch up on our video archives!
