Jan & Martin's Personal Sanoviv Nutritionist
& Friend Sue Ward
Many of you know that Martin and Jan have both been to Sanoviv Medical Institute for a variety of health programs.
Nutrition is a foundational component of the holistic approach recommended by Sanoviv for healthy living, preventing, diagnosing, and treating disease; all of these services are provided within a world-class hospital and five star spa designed for rest, rejuvenation, relaxation and recovery.
An integral part of the Sanoviv medical team is Nutritionist Sue Ward, who has a wealth of knowledge and is an advisor to both Martin and Jan. The Sanoviv Nutrition Department helped Jan to avoid an unnecessary surgery (link below to a speech she gave about it in 2007).
Martin is highly attuned with bone health because of his certification as a personal trainer and long-time athletic pursuits. Some of the breakthroughs by the Sanoviv nutrition researchers have helped Martin to avoid knee-replacement surgery for more than 15 years. When Jan was diagnosed with MS, the steroids used exclusively for treatment years ago contributed to the loss of bone density. Subsequently, she was diagnosed with osteoporosis, which is typically a progressive disease and in Jan's case has been stabilized thanks to advice from Sanoviv. As a certified Sanoviv Nutrition and Health Coach, Jan appreciates the importance of balanced ratios of Magnesium and Calcium, along with optimal dosages of Vitamin D and Boron--she considers them to be key disease-prevention factors.
We write you today to encourage you to tune in or pre-set your PVR to The Dr. Oz Show this Monday, May 23rd (check your local listings for show times). Tune in to watch Sue Ward discussing MagneCal D with Dr. Oz and why it is so uniquely beneficial in providing bone health benefits for people from all age and health conditions.
To our Canadian subscribers, we wish you a happy Victoria Day long weekend, which celebrates the birthday of Queen Victoria who reigned in 1837 until her death in 1876. To our American friends, Victoria was the grandmother to our current Queen (Elizabeth), and is the name of one of Jan's favourite Canadian cities.
