HOMECOMING 2014
did
, in-fact go out with a "bang!"
Golden Badgers enjoyed dinner and an outstanding performance by Snow College Jazz bands.
The Alumni Float included Badgers from seven decades!
Distinguished Alumni, Frank Weaver and James Tatton
were honored on Saturday.
As the week of events came to a close, the inevitable thunderstorm ended the football game five minutes early, as a lightning strike hit just a half-mile away from Badger Stadium, sending the crowd running for cover and resulting in a Badger victory over Phoenix College 42-6.
OCTOBER ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT:
RICHARD PETERSON '65
1. Where are you currently employed? I am currently retired
2. What are your hobbies? Hunting, playing tennis and chasing my grandchildren around
 3. How did Snow College contribute to your accomplishments? Snow gave me a good start in education and basis for the future
4. What is your most memorable moment at Snow College? Winning ICAC tennis tournament in 1965, for the second year in a row
5. What additional information would you like for the other alumni to know about you? I still feel deep roots to Snow College even though I am living in Alabama with my family.  Tennis carried over through the years and I still play several times a week and won the Senior State Championship in 2009.

FROM THE FOUNDATION

Science Building Campaign Donor Spotlight

The Snow College Foundation would like to extend sincere thanks to long-time supporter, Intermountain Power Agency (IPA). In addition to a significant scholarship endowment fund that aids pre-engineering students at Snow College, the group recently made a significant commitment to the new science building campaign. IPA’s contribution will support an engineering lab in the new building.

Thank you IPA for your support of students at Snow College!
Grant Spotlight

The Utah Cluster Acceleration Partnership (UCAP) grant has provided $110,000 in funds, to be used for two primary purposes. First, the grant will support the duplication of Snow College’s Computer Networking program (currently taught on the Richfield campus) on the Ephraim campus. Second, it will allow for creation of curriculum for new computer science courses, which will be part of a new degree pathway specific to computer programming.
Give to Snow
The Snow College Athletic Hall of Fame will be unveiled on Saturday, October 11. The public is invited to attend the final home football game at 12:00pm. Immediately following the game there will be an open-house of the Hall of Fame wall and a meet and greet with the inaugural inductees.
