Seeking Subject Matter Experts in Research Administration and a New Training Program Name
A message from the U-M Research Administration Advisory Council (RAAC) Training Subcommittee
In 2013, the RAAC Training Subcommittee set out to redesign training for new research administrators.
Now, we need your help.
We are gathering information about the available expertise within our research administration community.
We are looking for research administrators interested in contributing content within specific skill areas. We'll review the submitted profiles to identify potentials participants for topical Subcommittee workgroups. Workgroup tasks may include designing new, and, in some cases, refreshing existing curriculum.
We'll work through supervisors and RAAC members to approach potential volunteers. Participation and volunteerism in university professional development activities requires supervisory approval and unit concurrence.
We also need to identify a new name for the training program, included in the survey. We invite you to participate.
