Nominees can include a current faculty member of the tenured, tenure track, or research faculty track, or a team of up to three such faculty members.
Nominations are due June 11, 2021. The award recipient will be announced in early September and will accept the award virtually, on October 6, 2021, as part of U-M's Celebrate Invention event.
The Distinguished University Innovator Award is supported by endowments from the U-M Office of Research and the Stephen and Rosamund Forrest Family Foundation.
