eResearch Proposal Management (eRPM) System Service Degradation Update
eResearch Proposal Management (eRPM) is experiencing intermittent, slow system performance due to an issue with the MiStorage maintenance this past weekend.
The services impacted are: Business Objects, Document Imaging, eResearch Proposal Management, MiWorkspace Windows, MPrint, Marketsite, and Department Storage. For updates on this degradation, see status.its.umich.edu.
While working in eRPM you may notice any of the following:
Slowness to the point of failure when uploading new documents and saving changes to existing documents.
Slowness to the point of failure when downloading existing documents.
Slowness when navigating through PAFs, Award, and UFA pages.
Slowness or timeouts when running activities.
Slowness or timeouts when generating PDFs in Grants.gov forms.
If you experience any of the issues mentioned above, we advise you to wait a few minutes and try again.
If you have an upcoming submission deadline that may be in jeopardy, please contact the ITS Service Center and request escalation to the eResearch Proposal Management Team.
ITS is actively investigating and working to resolve the issue and will update the service status as more information becomes available.
