The Navigate: Fundamentals course will be offered for 30 U-M research administrators with up to approximately two years of working experience.
Session Content
The course will consist of seven full-day instructor-led sessions between March and May 2019, with capstone projects to demonstrate success.
The program has been expertly crafted to follow the workflow and business process of the sponsored research project lifecycle.
Research administrators work with difficult business, compliance, and financial challenges, and often undertake them with little or no experience. Providing excellent training for new research administrators is integral to reducing administrative burden for both faculty and staff.
Participant Requirements
Interested parties should save the dates. Attendance at each session is mandatory. In situations of inclement weather or closures, alternate sessions will be announced.
Applicants selected to participate in the Spring 2019 Navigate: Fundamentals cohort will be notified shortly after the application cut-off on Monday, February 18, 2019.
