Google Groups Forum

The Research Administration Advisory Council's (RAAC) Communications Subcommittee is piloting Google Groups* as an informal, online forum for research administrators (RAs) at the University of Michigan.
This online forum would provide a space for RAs working in sponsored project research administration at
U-M. RAs would use it to bring up new ideas, discuss problems, share success stories and see what others are doing.
To fully launch the site we first need 20-100 individuals to test the user experience of Google Groups.
We only need 15 minutes to 2 hours of your time.
We will provide you with a simple step-by-step process and ask for your feedback later. You'll try things like:
- Browse through categories for answers
- Categorize your question
- Upload a document
- Respond to a question
- Create a post
* What is a Google Group?
Google Groups is a service from Google that provides discussion groups for people sharing common interests. Think listserv, Internet forum, or message board. This online discussion site will allow people to hold conversations in the form of posted messages. The messages can be categorized and archived.
