The Navigate: Fundamentals Course is provided for U-M research administrators with zero to about two years of working experience. This course will consist of eight full-day instructor-led sessions between September 2016 and December 2016, with capstone projects to demonstrate success. The cost will be $400 to attend.

The RAMP↑ advisory committee will once again match mentors who have at least five years of research administrative experience with mentees who are relative newcomers to the field, having six months to about two years of research administration experience at the University of Michigan. aiM Higher is a University of Michigan guided and self-study program designed to assist research administrators in preparing for the Certified Research Administrator (CRA) exam.
aiM Higher holds group study pods on Fridays from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in locations across campus, as well as offering other study venues.
The Research Administrators Certification Council, an independent certifying body, offers the CRA exam in the spring and fall.
