The eResearch Proposal Management system (eRPM) was updated on Monday, June 26, 2017. Updates include:
New checkbox on the "Project Team Submit Change" activity
ORSP may return your proposal for various reasons, including a request for it to be finalized. This action puts your proposal approval form (PAF) into the state of "ORSP Review - Project Team Making Changes."
Once your proposal is ready to be submitted, you must (1) finish the PAF by completing the "Finalize for Submission to Sponsor" activity, and (2) notify ORSP by completing the "Project Team Submit Change" activity.
When identifying Change Types in the “Project Team Submit Change” activity, a new "Finalized Proposal" checkbox is now included in the list of options. (See below.) This checkbox further clarifies the changes that have occurred and aids unit reviewers in understanding what changes are being submitted. Once you have indicated the change type, including Finalized Proposal, you must click OK to submit the changes to the PAF. Note: This checkbox does not replace the requirement to complete the "Finalize for Submission to Sponsor" activity.
New reminder that export controlled information should not be uploaded in eRPM
A new warning message will appear in the PAF worksheet to help remind project teams that export controlled information or data should not be uploaded in eRPM. Additionally, a new warning message will appear in the PAF workspace for projects that have been marked as "Yes" or "Unsure" for involving export controls. This change helps ensure security and adheres to export control regulations.
