U-M-Beijing Institute of Collaborative Innovation (BICI) Partnership Program-Funding Opportunity
An invitation from U-M-BICI Partnership Program
Faculty interested in learning more about U-M-BICI (Beijing Institute of Collaborative Innovation) Partnership Program and submitting a proposal are invited to attend a U-M-Partnership Program Information Session in the Office of Technology Transfer (June 1, 2018).
Dr. Xinjian Zhou, Associate Dean of BICI and President of BICI USA will present. He will be joined by Professor Chuanwu Xi, Faculty Director, and Dr. Tiefei Dong, Managing Director of the U-M-BICI Partnership Program. RSVP preferred by May 28, 2018.
BICI has agreed to fund U-M research and translational research in a broad range of areas, including:
Engineering, health, science and environmental technologies
Energy materials, water treatment, electronics surgical robots and rehab robots, medical devices and precision medicine
Projects will be screened to ensure compliance with U.S. export controls and other regulations.

U-M-BICI Partnership Program will be inviting research proposals from U-M Faculty. Proposals must be developed using the Applications and Instructions in the Call for Proposals.
Submission Deadlines: Rolling submission for one-page pre-proposal and submission of full proposal by invitation only. Award Amount: Dependent on the needs of the individual projects and eligibility for extension to second year. Eligibility: Only permanent, full-time faculty in the professional ranks (assistant, associate, full, or research) from all relevant colleges and schools may apply. Expected Number of Awards: no limits
