Attention all SF424 Grants.gov Proposal Submitters
An issue has been identified with the new PHS Human Subjects and Clinical Trials Information form and a workaround is required to ensure successful proposal submission.
Problem Description: The Subject Study Title field on the new PHS Human Subjects and Clinical Trials Information form allows for the entry of up to 600 characters, however, the submission transmission process will only accommodate 30 characters. If more than 30 characters are entered in the Study Title field, you will receive an error when you run validations. An example of the error message is provided below.
Workaround: Enter in a Subject Study Title with a maximum character limit of 30 characters or less. This will allow you to clear any other validation errors and submit the application.
ITS is working with our vendor to resolve this issue. An update to this RAPid will be sent as soon as the issue is resolved.
