ORSP Closings
* Plan for deadlines that fall on or around season days!

The months of November and December bring us season days. This also means a shorter working month to support and conduct our business.
This year ORSP will have additional season days, as granted by the University, of November 25 and December 23 & 24. ORSP will be closed on these dates.
As these days approach, we want you to be prepared.
Know the deadline scenarios.
Regardless of whether your campus or school/college/institute is open, these season days will impact internal proposal submission deadlines and whether your proposal receives a Full Review, a Limited Review, or is At Risk.
Example:
A proposal is due to the Sponsor on Monday, November 30 at 5:00 p.m.
For a Full Review, that proposal is now due to ORSP by Thursday, November 19 at 5:00 p.m.
For a Limited Review, that proposal is now due to ORSP by Tuesday, November 24, at 9:00 a.m.
Anything after that and the proposal is at risk and may not be submitted.
See below for more resources on the proposal submission deadline policy and these definitions.
Make arrangements with your PR now.
Make arrangements now with your designated project representative for any items you will be sending to ORSP to ensure ample time for processing. Remember that we may be working with limited staff as we approach these season days and that many sponsors' offices also have limited staff and closings during this season.
The eResearch Proposal Management (eRPM) system calculator will be updated on the morning of November 17, 2020. (Look for a RAPid eRPM update next Tuesday morning.) Until then, please be sure to add in extra lead time for these season days when calculating your deadlines.
