November eResearch Update

eRPM Release 4.3

The eResearch Proposal Management system (eRPM) was updated on Monday, November 14, 2016. Updates include:

New Streamlined Agreement Acceptance Request Process

We have a new, streamlined process to accommodate additional approvals required at the time of agreement for awards and unfunded agreements. They can now be accepted or signed off in the eResearch Proposal Management (eRPM) by a new activity instead of by a posted comment.

This affects the acceptance of awards and unfunded agreements that may involve:

publication restrictions
cost sharing
indirect costs (IDC)
budget changes of +/- 20%
items initiated by the Office of Research and Sponsored Projects (ORSP) or the Office of Technology Transfer

PAF Workspace changes

A status map graphic has been added to easily identify the current status of the PAF. Workspace messages will appear in the left navigation area and have a consistent format.

Export Controls - Technology Plans

Automated process replaces existing paper-based process for creation, review, and approval of Technology Control Plans related to use of Export Controlled materials.
