We have some great news to share about improved business and system processes. The eResearch Proposal Management system (eRPM) was updated over the weekend. The Updates include:
Export Controls
An Export Controls question added for all Unfunded Agreement (UFA) Categories (Non-Disclosure, Data Use, and Other Agreements). This question already appears on the Material Transfer Agreement(MTA).
PAF and UFAs where Export Controls apply will now display a message in the project workspace if the answer is "yes" or "unsure." The U-M Export Controls Officer (Krista Campeau) can remove it once verifying that no export controls apply.
PAF and CTRF Cloning
The ORSP Project Representative (PR) will no longer carry over when a PAF is cloned.
A PAF initiated as a Clinical Trial Routing Form (CTRF) can now be cloned into a PAF.
PAF Workspace Message for COI Review
A new message will indicate if the PAF sponsor(s) require COI review. For example, if the sponsor is deemed a Start-Up company by the Conflict of Interest Committee, these companies will require additional review.
