Holiday Movie Time
 Don't miss the next holiday movie:
Dates: Thursday and Friday, December 13 and 14, 2018

Movie: The Santa Clause
Bring your lunch and enjoy a holiday movie! Flyers have been posted around the office with what movies will be shown.
The final holiday movie dates:
- Thursday and Friday, December 20 and 21, 2018
- Movie: Christmas with the Kranks (movie split into two days)
Holiday Baking Competition
 The Holiday Baking Competition is coming up this Thursday, December 13, 2018. The baked goods can be placed on the islands for people to try throughout the day. There will be a ticket bowl  placed by each baked good to select your favorite(s).
Please have your votes in by 2:00 p.m. The winner will be announced at 3:00 p.m.
Good luck to all competitors and enjoy the baked goods!
Traditional Canteen ORSP Brunch
Mark your calendar for our annual Canteen holiday breakfast. It will be held on:

Time: 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Place: Room 1025
There is no need to bring a dish. Just bring yourself!

White Elephant Gift Exchange
The first annual ORSP White Elephant Gift Exchange will be on:
Date: Thursday, December 20, 2018
Time: 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Place: Around the islands
Anyone who would like to participate in the White Elephant Gift Exchange would need to bring a wrapped gift, with a $10 value. It can be new or very gently used, but nothing that is broken or in bad condition.
How it works: We will be doing a different version where everyone gets in a circle and Ashley reads a story and you follow the directions. At the end of the story, you open the gift you hold.
Please join in on the fun ... the more the merrier!
Holiday Giving/Donation Opportunities
Salvation Army
 We are making progress but still looking for a few more gifts for the Salvation Army Adopt-a-Family program and the Humane Society, due by noon Tuesday, December 18, 2018.
Still Need for List 1!
- Mother: Clothes, robe, movies, or winter hat.
- Son: Erector set, race car, clothes, gloves, or movies.
- Daughter: Dollhouse, toy kitchen, or hoodies.

Senior Citizen: Boots, long johns, wallet, clothes.

- Veteran: Air mattress, clothes, robe, wallet, comforter, hobby/craft-model cars, etc.

Humane Society Donation
 Colleen Vogler is organizing a donation box (outside of Coyote's cube) for the Humane Society of Huron Valley. Review their wish list of items, and please bring in an item to support our furry friends.
Items they always need:
Items they cannot accept:
- Controlled substances or medications (except unexpired flea/heartworm preventative)
- Large comforters and pet beds that cannot be laundered in a normal washing machine
- Cedar or pine bedding
Please have your gifts/donations in the box by noon on Tuesday, December 18, 2018.
United Way Update
 Current ORSP contributions - Eight (9) contributors for a total of $5,535
Please remember to donate to the United Way campaign to help those in need in the community! The donation link is on Wolverine Access.
ORSP will award three VISA gift cards for $100, $50, and two $25 gift cards so your odds are good! To receive a raffle ticket, bring Terri Maxwell your email confirmation of your UW contribution. The drawing will take place in January!
Don't forget to throw in your loose change in the giant jar in the kitchen (thanks, Maggie!). The best guesser of the total amount of money in the jar could win another $25 gift card!
Let's reach our goal to have at least 50% of our staff contributing. The amount does not matter as much as the effort to give. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity!
Before You Leave For Holiday Break...
 Please:
- Unplug any space heaters.
- Empty your office trash (last day for custodial services is Friday, December 21, 2018). This means that on Monday, there will be no office trash removal.
- Remove any items you may have in the refrigerator.
- Power down your equipment.
- Modify your signature, as well as your out-of-office message, before you leave.

HOLIDAY HOURS:
ORSP will be closed on the following dates for the holidays:
- From Tuesday, December 25, 2018, through Tuesday, January 1, 2019, for the winter season days. ORSP will have minimal staff on Monday, December 24, 2018. Please plan accordingly.
