Preparing to implement the federal Uniform Guidance
We have opened up a few more spaces in each of our Uniform Guidance Information Sessions for Research Administrators, and we have moved to a larger lecture hall for the final session at the Medical School, opening up 90 new spaces.
We'll have handouts and presentations (that we'll also post on the web) regarding what will change and what will remain the same. Craig Reynolds (Associate Director of Research & Sponsored Projects - ORSP) and Bryan Van Sickle (Financial Senior Manager from Finance-Sponsored Programs) will host.

Implementation Strategy
U-M will transition to the Uniform Guidance on July 1, 2015, for all federal funds, regardless of award date and associated terms and conditions.
U-M will adhere to the Uniform Guidance procurement standards by July 1, 2016.
