Almighty and everlasting God, you have given to us your servants grace, by the confession of a true faith, to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity, and in the power of your divine Majesty to worship the Unity: Keep us steadfast in this faith and worship, and bring us at last to see you in your one and eternal glory, O Father; who with the Son and the Holy Spirit live and reign, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
Adult Forum at 9:30 a.m.
"He flies through the air with the greatest of ease, the daring young man on the flying trapeze..."  What do trapeze artists at a circus have to do with theology?   This Sunday's Adult Forum will feature the film "Angels Over the Net," where Father Henri Nouwen enthusiastically explains some profound insights he found while watching The Flying Rodleighs at work. We will meet at 9:30 in the Guild Room. Come enjoy the show!
At the 10:15 a.m. service, the First Lesson will be a presentation
by the Godly Play Group, Laura Axon and Miriam Lain.
Homestead Preschool Open House
June 10th
2:00 to 4:00 pm
 opens very soon!
Thanks to all the wonderful folks who helped set up, brought food, and/or helped clean up at last Sunday's Pentecost brunch.  The food was absolutely delicious and everyone enjoyed the chance to share a meal and conversation with All Saints friends, family, and newcomers!  It wouldn't happen without volunteers willing to step up.  Much, much appreciation!

Amaka Agum, daughter of Ejy and Patience, graduated from David Douglass High School on June 7, 2017.

A prayer shawl will be presented to Amaka during the 10:15 a.m. service as is our tradition for high school graduates.
John Herr, son of Laurie Herr member of Chancel Choir, attended Whitworth University in Spokane for the last four years.  He majored in accounting with a minor in vocal performance.  He received a Bachelor of Arts degree.

After his graduation trip to Italy, he will be working with his mom in the family business, Lincoln Tax & Accounting Service, located in Lincoln Center on Greenburg Road.
One of  our hobbies is medieval re-enactment, which is why the picture shows him in 16th century Italian clothing. Congratulations, John!

Mackenzie Broderick, daughter of Chris and Mary Gay, graduates Phi Beta Kappa from Northwestern University in Illinois with a degree in Creative Writing on June 16.

She plans to land a job in Denver, where she will move this summer.
Congratulations, Mackenzie!

Eastmoreland Garage Sale on Saturday June 24:
Chris McClave has graciously agreed to host the All Saints Garage Sale during the Eastmoreland Neighborhood Garage Sale.  Please start setting aside good condition items for the sale. Sale items can be brought directly to her home.

The following items have been found to sell well: easily moved furniture that is clean, in usable, salable condition, 1950’s furniture and decorations are very desirable, toys, games, everyday dishware, kitchen utensils, vases, small portable appliances, outdoor furniture good condition, picture frames, tools, garden tools, prints, posters, paintings, holiday decorations, costume jewelry, working lamps, good condition children’s books, books, CDs and DVDs.

Based on previous experience we will
NOT be collecting: clothing, shoes, outdated electronics, large appliances, plants, mattresses, stuffed animals, bedding, pillows, VHS tapes.

If in doubt ask one of the members of the fundraising committee, we have sold large difficult to move items via Craig's list: Chris M, Nancy Carr, & Sonja
on Third Saturday!

Our 3rd Saturday team is too small to manage the increase in people coming for the meal. Please, if you can help out even for an hour or so, contact Nancy Patrick at 971-271-1339.

Also, our 3rd Saturday cook will be out of town in June on business. I will be cooking but would like some help. Just give me a call. Thank you.

You may have noticed that the small dogwood in front of our All Saints sign is missing now.  It was a decision of the Building and Grounds Committee and the Vestry to remove it.  We have been trying to make the approach to our church more open and welcoming, and it was clear that the dogwood was blocking our sign to those driving up Woodstock Boulevard. It was a hard decision take down a beautiful tree, but we will plant another one, or possibly two, to replace it in a more appropriate spot.
