O God, from whom all good proceeds: Grant that by your inspiration we may think those things that are right, and by your merciful guiding may do them; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

30-Hour Famine Update
This year's World Vision 30-Hour Famine was a huge success! The youth group had a deeply challenging and rewarding experience this year as we went hungry to put ourselves in the shoes of children around the world who don't have enough to eat. This year's curriculum focused heavily on child refugees in war-torn parts of the world, and participants had to attempt to build a shelter for themselves out of the barest of materials. Thanks to your generous support we also managed to raise over $1000 to benefit hungry children around the world and support long-term projects to reduce global poverty - that's double our goal! On behalf of the All Saints' youth group I want to thank everyone for your support, whether it be through donations, prayers, chaperone help, food, or encouraging words to participants; it all goes a very long way.
Best wishes,
Fun Fact ...
Did you know the word “Episcopal” was the most searched word on Google on the day of the British Royal Wedding? Thanks to the energy and hope Presiding Bishop Michael Curry stirred in his sermon, many of our neighbors are more curious than ever about the Episcopal Church. Let us intentionally share faith and greet newcomers as if they are Christ in our midst!
Thank you to these great helpers -
    * Scott McDowell for patching and repainting the closet in the Keiter Hall second floor closet for our new tenants,
and mowing the lawn around the church.
* Jim Hinman for renting a concrete sander to smooth out tripping hazards in the sidewalk by the front door.
*  Laurie McDowell and Mary Earl for digging out old plants and planting new Russian Sage and lavender in front of the Homestead pre-school window on Woodstock.
Thanks!   Judy Clark, Jr. Warden
Homestead Preschool Celebrates!
Today, June 7, was the last day of school for these Homestead Preschool students. They performed songs for their families on stage (our front steps!). Summer vacation awaits!

Women's Bible Study will be on hiatus until Tuesday, September 11, 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.

Have a wonderful summer and join us then!
A word from your deacon ...

The ladies of the Mustard Seed Thrift Shop have been giving socks and other clothing items to the homeless for years. We are expanding this ministry and organizing a space that will also include personal care items. We now gratefully accept small hygiene products and
especially men's crew socks year-round. Please drop these off with Dn. Kathleen.
Thank you.
A Prayer for Special Guidance
Almighty Lord, source of all knowledge and loving kindness, bring your grace upon the  All Saint’s Search Committee as we discern the needs of our parish in finding a new priest to serve as our Spiritual guide. Give us ears to hear, open hearts to feel, and clarity of vision so we might see your light. Shine your light upon us and grant us courage to move forward for your Honor and Glory. Let us all work together in your spirit of love for all who make up our All Saints’ community. We ask this For His Sake, our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Amen
