New Committee Forming
Our parish has had its’ share of interactions with homeless people on church property. The City of Portland has recommended that we establish a firm policy, both pro-active and re-active to handle this issue. The Vestry is putting together a small committee to draft such a policy. If you are interested in participating, please contact Chuck Martin, Senior Warden. We plan on completing it before June 23rd.

If the plea is made, it's going to be answered, though not necessarily in the way you expect.
ECO-FAITH NOTES

Battery electric cars are relatively simple machines.  They have 10-times fewer moving parts than a gasoline powered car.  There’s no engine, transmission, spark plugs, valves, fuel tank, tailpipe, distributor, starter, clutch, muffler or catalytic converter.  Battery costs keep going down, and the federal government offers a tax credit of $7500.  They are quick, quiet, fun to drive, and you never have to stop at a gas station.  – Steve Hiscoe

Labyrinth:  The labyrinth is a mysterious, useful, and ancient symbol that has captured the human imagination for thousands of years.  In our increasingly chaotic world, its introspective, coiling path is attracting more and more people around the globe in search of inner peace and greater self-awareness.  The labyrinth invites you on a meditative journey to help you discover joy at the center of the labyrinth and, ultimately, at the center of your life.
