The Rev. Laura C. Truby, Rector
The Rev. Kathleen Borsch, Deacon
Dr. James Denman, Director of Music
O God, the King of glory, you have exalted your only Son Jesus Christ with great triumph to your kingdom in heaven: Do not leave us comfortless, but send us your Holy Spirit to strengthen us, and exalt us to that place where our Savior Christ has gone before; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, in glory everlasting. Amen.
 opens very soon!

Adult Forum at 9:30 a.m.
At the Adult Forum this Sunday, we will view a portion of the film Henri Nouwen: The Passion of a Wounded Healer.

Please join us as we are introduced to the humble and encouraging outlook of this man, including an interesting commentary on Rembrandt's The Prodigal Son (the painting on the wall outside Mother Laura's office). Please note: this is a subtitled film.

The Shawl Ministry meeting is at 11:45am this coming Sunday, May 28th. Join us!
To close out the school year, the youth group will once again be participating in World Vision's "30-Hour Famine!" From 12:00pm on Friday, May 26th until 6:00pm on Saturday, May 27th we shall be abstaining from food in solidarity with the millions of children around the world who are hungry or malnourished.
Those who are able are encouraged to sponsor one of the youth taking part in the famine by making a donation. One good suggestion is to offer to donate $1 for every hour we'll go without food. 30 hours would mean just $30, and that's enough to feed, clothe, house, and educate a child in the developing world for an entire month, but any donation is appreciated!
If you would like to know any more about the famine, please direct inquiries to Noah Kilian, our youth ministries coordinator. Thank you!

Pentecost Celebration and Potluck
Sunday, June 4
After the 10:15 Service
Please join us on June 4 and wear red as we celebrate Pentecost with a potluck after the 10:15 service.

A sign-up sheet  will be in the Parish Hall this Sunday for your convenience to let us know if you can help set up, bring food, and/or clean up.
It’s gonna be fun!!

on Third Saturday!

Our 3rd Saturday team is too small to manage the increase in people coming for the meal.  Please, if you can help out even for an hour or so, contact Nancy Patrick at 971-271-1339.  Also, our 3rd Saturday cook will be out of town in June on business. I will be cooking but would like some help. Just give me a call. Thank you.
