After the completion of two successful funding rounds, the National Institute for Health Research School for Primary Care Research (NIHR SPCR) has awarded over £2 million to 51 primary care studies in the past year.
Following School funded research at the universities of Bristol and Manchester, a new grant for a nationwide study into multi-morbidity has been awarded by the NIHR. Read more

At the South West SAPC conference in Bristol earlier this month, 'Young researcher of the year' prize went to Sam Watts, SPCR researcher at the University of Southampton, and Alison Gregory, SPCR trainee at the University of Bristol, received one of the two best poster prizes.
