Coyotes Curling Club
Hotter Than Hell Bonspiel
This weekend marks the last weekend of curling for this season and the Hotter Than Hell Bonspiel. We have 28 teams competing for the flame trophy. Come out and watch some great curling and have a beer with your fellow curlers as we finish off the season. Here are some links for the weekends event:
There will also be a bit of fun on the ice after the final draw ends on Sunday around 3:00pm. Want to throw rocks diagonally across the ice, how about bare foot curling or ice skating? That's right, you can bring your skates and head onto the ice. (Club Members only).
Good luck and Good curling to everyone involved!!
First we will need help this weekend with the Hotter Than Hell, so please stop by and keep score, tend bar, setup nametags, help with food and/or watch some curling. Please ask Carol Ann Naso, Wayne Fleming, Dan Bossler or Karen Tait where you can help out.
Next, we will need help all week Starting Sunday after the last draw and continuing each day all day and evening for the entire week. Please stop by or e-mail Carl Naso
with the times you can help out.
Recently the Strategic Planning Committee conducted a survey of our members and made several recommendations to the board, and the board is listening. One of the suggestions involved the restructuring of our committees as well as trying to get more of our members involved. So we would like you to head to our volunteer page and look through the list of committees and their responsibilities. Then send us your info along with which committee(s) you think you would best be able to help our club grow and thrive.
