Teenage styling is all about embracing a young person's individuality and giving them the confidence to dress for all occasions; whether its dressing down at the weekend or attending smart family celebrations. It's also about teenagers learning to be creative with their clothes and being able to re-work pieces a number of times. Octavia Cobb, featured, was treated to a two hour Wardrobe Consultation for her 18th birthday. A fun session in which we created looks from both new and old garments that she thought she'd never wear again. Now, she has a look book full of outfits and is ready for all events. Most importantly, she is excited about her clothes (and Mum is happy too!)

Working this season's must-have new blanket coatin a luxury layered way with knee high boots, skinny printed jeans and a blazer for a sophisticated look. I showed Octavia six different looks for this season's key piece.
This white jacket was originally part of a two-piece wedding outfit that Octavia wasn't wearing. Re-worked with a slogan t-shirt and faux leather leggings, it now has a fresh monochrome, on trend sport luxe look; perfect for drinks with friends.
A printed coloured scarf adds a touch of sophistication when teamed with Octavia's red waxed jeans. The printed blazer tailors the look making it perfect for a smart lunch with the family or tea with grandma.
An old sleeveless party dress re-worked by layering a skinny t-shirt underneath and adding a fabulous faux fur coat.
