Food for Thought

"Compassion requires that justice be blind to the privileged, but not the underprivileged; blind to the corrupting power of money, but not the corrupting power of poverty; blind to the effect of its judgments, but not the effect of its mercy.”

― Scott Ainslie
Welcome Back

Table Hopping CNY Chuck Schiele says, “Christopher Dale is an enormously gifted songwriter who has the ability to translate something profound while singing about ordinary stuff, and often with a sense of humor and fun.”  Speaking of fun, check out these two videos of his:

♪♫  Waitress  ♫♪

Esquire Magazine Writer-at-Large, Mike Sager, says “Christopher Dale is infectious and virtuoso. He rocks, he croons, he blows bubbles, he opens a vein and lets it bleed!”

We have not personally seen any blood, but we sure like him and his music and know you will too.

Jan and JD are multi-award-winning singer songwriters who live and create their music in the mountains of Colorado near Aspen. They call their 23-year partnership “The Heart of Harmony” not only because they are happily married (to each other), but because they get to write, record, sing, and play their music for appreciative audiences around the country, and beyond.

Their music is rich and intelligent. Their songs open the heart and refresh the spirit. Here is a sampling of their music:

Musician Scott Ainslee     Scott Ainslie came of age during the Civil Rights era, and cultivated a powerful affinity for cross-cultural exchange. Armed with a variety of instruments – vintage guitars, a fretless gourd banjo, a one-string, homemade diddley bow (aka cigar box guitar) and carefully chosen historical personal anecdotes of his encounters with senior musicians across the South, he brings the history, roots music, and sounds of America alive.

Scott is a masterful and thoughtful historian, storyteller, and musician. His performances present a wonderful palette of sounds and stories that will delight the ear, awaken the mind, and satisfy the heart. Here is a sampling of his music:
