National Domestic Violence Awareness Month is October

At the Denise House 35th Anniversary Gala, I was honoured as a Woman of Courage for having gone on to thrive after experiencing domestic abuse, for supporting the shelter, and for working to empower women.

This year, we have 23 artists at 16 studio locations. Covid 19 policies in place. Several of our artists will be open Sept.28-Oct.2 by appointment only.
By the way, podcasts are a burgeoning field and the Pickering Public Library MakerSpace has the capacity to support quality audio recording. I took a great sound editing workshop there and Peter Fritze recorded some of the sound tracks for his mini-mysteries there. And, talk about creative marketing!
