National Arts and Culture Impact Survey

Ontario Association of Art Galleries
In these continuing uncertain times, we are at a crossroads as the impact of the pandemic continues to have a debilitating effect on the broader Arts and Culture sector. Ontario Association of Art Galleries representing the interest of Visual Arts & Public Art Gallery sector is part of a group of arts service organizations representing a range of artistic disciplines across Canada which has co-commissioned the National Arts and Culture Impact Survey.
As we approach the nine-month mark in this complex new landscape, new data is needed to inform medium- and long-term policies that will shape the Canadian cultural sector for years to come. That’s why OAAG contributed to creating the National Arts and Culture Impact Survey. The NACIS was designed to capture a snapshot in time.
OAAG requests its membership and encourages all arts organizations, artists, and arts workers across Canada to participate in the survey by Monday, November 23, 2020.

Kim Michele

Enchant yourself with a little taste of the musical talents of harpist Kim Michele. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtjYdmBPs7c

Kim is the author of an Indie book of short stories, Emma’s Garden: A poetic story that takes place in a breathtaking east coast fishing village in Nova Scotia, where a granddaughter reminisces about childhood summers with her grandparents. Her grandparents, Emma and Bernard, make a journey in their fishing boat to Cumberland County and picnic on Spenser’s Island. When Emma returns home to her cottage, she changes the village landscape forever and leaves a legacy for all who visit this quaint cove.
