Marsh Lake Community Centre Exercise Room:

There is a water cooler on site but you need to bring your own water bottle. We are not providing disposable cups.

We are still awaiting a few items and the room is still being finished but the 450 square foot exercise room is now available available for the use of Marsh Lake residents 18 and over, free of charge, upon receipt of your signed waiver and Code of Conduct Agreement. Included with access to the exercise room will be simultaneous 24/7/365 access to the gymnasium during times when no other programming is scheduled.

Upon receipt of your signed waiver and Code of Conduct Agreement, 24/7/365 access will be made available to you through the provision of a code which allows you to enter the Community Centre through the Exercise Room door. This code is for your use only, and your 24/7/365 access may be revoked if you let others who have not been granted access into the facility, give your access code out to anyone else to use or violate any of the terms in the Code of Conduct Agreement. If you are the last one to leave after-hours, you are expected ensure ALL of the windows and doors in the Exercise Room, lobby and gymnasium are locked and secured before you leave.

COVID 19 provisions: You are expected to sanitize any surfaces you expect to touch and whatever equipment you wish to use and prior to using it. Disinfectant wipes are provided. There is a handwash station in the Exercise Room and the washrooms will be accessible and stocked with soap and paper towel. Please bring your own personal equipment where possible, such as yoga mats, pickleball raquets etc. to limit sharing of equipment. You are responsible for your own health. Persons not in a family or friendship 'bubble' may not use a machine or station immediately adjacent to any machine or station that is currently being used by another user. Please maintain at least 2 meters between yourself and others who are not in your family or friendship 'bubble'. If you arrive at the Community Centre and there are already five or more people using the Excercise Room who are not in your family or friendship 'bubble', please leave the Exercise Room and come again when there are fewer people present. Wearing a mask may not be possible while exercising, but please consider wearing one during activities where doing so would be practicable. Please do a self-assessment before entering the Community Centre. Ensure you are not experiencing cough, fever, shortness of breath or feeling unwell, and have not have been travelling outside Yukon in the last 14 days or been in contact with someone in the last 14 days who is infected with COVID-19.
