Our building team worked hard over October half-term transforming our new Growing Space at St Helen's Church in North Kensington. Phase one of the Woodland garden is now complete and the bench has been installed. Phase two is expected to finish by the end of the year.

Updates from our Growing Space at Christ Church!

This October, we held our first series of Halloween half-term workshops. The workshops ran most afternoons and children (and parents!) enjoyed carving their own pumpkins, making scarecrow hats, scary pots, and brooms for Halloween!

We are very excited to announce our
'Eco-friendly'
Growing Space Christmas Event
Come and enjoy making creative Christmas Seasonal gifts, Decorations & Ornaments and/or learn how to make a Christmas Candle Wreath!
All eco-friendly & sustainable!
We will show you how to create lovely and useful objects using natural and/or upcycled material! Helping you to make a conscious and meaningful choice this Christmas and to reduce unnecessary waste!
By choosing to join this event, you will also help us raise funds to build more Growing Spaces in the area - accessible to local schools and communities, and ensuring their maintenance all year round!
Included in the event:
Christmas music, Face-painting*, Garden games (weather permitting) & Sensory experiences, Herb tea tasting, Minced pies and Mulled wine for all, and much more!

We are always looking for volunteers to help us with every day tasks in the garden.
We have been very fortunate to have a dedicated team of Duke of Edinburgh and local volunteers in the garden.
We welcome anyone to join our team! For any neighbours, parents and children who wish to help out with garden maintenance, pruning, weeding, and harvesting, or just general gardening, there is always something fun to do and to learn in the garden!

Come and join us to help maintain our garden, to learn fun gardening facts and/or to develop new skills!
A family-friendly event, perfect for those looking for a fun day out. So bring your children along for a great afternoon in the outdoors!
