“We can help the environment if we have a diet change, says Pooja, adding, “When we consume meat, we are basically demanding it. Increased demand, results in increasing animal husbandry for which a lot of land and water resources are used. More land means more cutting of trees and ultimately, the land is used for killing animals. Isn’t it better to change our food habits than be a part of so much waste of resources?”

Climate Save Gambia took part in the Extinction Rebellion Global Action on October 14 with a protest and march. They report: "The younger generation have started taking matters into their own hands, since their government has done little to confront the ever emerging climate crisis. Today, School going children chanted and demanded for climate justice. They called upon their government to take drastic measures to put a stop to the menace and trauma they face on a daily basis. It was incredible!"
ANIMAL REBELLION, LONDON, UK
Watch as Animal Rebellion disrupts and occupies a slaughterhouse near London, UK. They are rising up to raise awareness about the animal condition and to demand a Plant Based Food System. Many Climate Save Movement activists are part of this action.

OUR MISSION Health Save Movement aims to show how veganism can prevent and reverse diseases related to animal products consumption, enhance food justice, and decrease spending on the health crisis.

The Game Changers documentary has had a very successful release and is now playing on Netflix too. It has generated much praise as well as criticisms. Watch as producer James Wilkes debunks some of the criticisms, among them from Men's Health magazine.
OUR MISSION Ditch Dairy SAVE Lives aims to encourage Save groups (existing and new) to hold vigils outside of dairy farms or factories incorporating outreach. Groups can also do outreach outside of establishments retailing large amounts of dairy products.
The Save Movement Johannesburg report from their October 9 vigil and outreach for chickens at Early Bird Farms slaughter plant: "In the first hour we already had seen two truckloads of babies carrying 9,000 per truck! We are doing outreach to passers by talking about the horrors of factory farming, the cruelty these poor babies go through, and of course the devastating effects animal agricultural has on our planet and environment!"
Melbourne Save groups held a City Rally on October 18 at the popular Bourke Street Mall. Activists carried out a "humanely killed human meat" demo to tell the public that humane "meat" is a myth. Watch Sydney Animal Save's videos.

They held their first vigil on October 9 with over 60 activists! They report: "This was the last time they saw the sky. Such a privilege it is for us to experience the gift of life, and yet here we are robbing others of what we treasure so much."
Jylland Animal Save held a vigil for the cows on October 18, but as no trucks came, they decided to take the message of justice for animals to midtown instead. Watch as they give out free food to the public.
Rimini Animal Save held a vigil at the Inalca Spa slaughter plant on October 2 with 16 activists. Please watch.

West Midlands Animal Save report from their October 14 vigil: "Heartbreaking morning at F.A Gills slaughterhouse in Wolverhampton 💔 We saw 5 trucks in total filled with unique gentle beings, all of them covered in their own filth and scratches from fighting each other. it's not enough that we take their life from them - their whole (short) lives are a misery too."
Córdoba Animal Save held a vigil for the pigs on October 10 at the Frigorífico Qualitá slaughter plant. They report: "We hold vigils because we are not unmoved by the oppression that we exercise on other beings. The life of each of these animals of another species has value, even if they have been numbered and treated as things. Their lives have value like ours, like yours, like anyone's, because the only difference is our perception and making the connection is urgent."
They held their first vigil as part of the Save Latino Tour 2019 on October 14. Please watch as this sad pig shows that they would prefer to be free, not in a cage.
Lima Animal Save report from their October 17 vigil at the Lurin slaughter plant: "You can see the number of trucks that were lining up to enter the slaughterhouse with animals waiting to be sold as slaves and then killed. There is no excuse for animal exploitation."

Ryding-Regency "Meat" Packers, which had its licence suspended September 17, continues to be in the news as the recall of their products gets worse: Beef recall expands as Toronto slaughterhouse works with food watchdog "A large recall of raw beef and veal products continued to expand this week with Canada’s food watchdog issuing safety warnings about dozens of items sold at restaurants and retail outlets including Walmart and the gourmet food chain Pusateri’s."
At Toronto Pig Save's vigil, a baby pig gently tries to play with something, and the only thing in the slaughterhouse truck is a rod of steel. 💔 You can see the innocence in his eyes, he just wants to play and be free like you and me but now he is dead.
Manitoba Animal Save bore witness to sheep, goats and cows at the Winnipeg Livestock Sales weekly auction sale on October 16. they report: "We spent an hour or so with the animals and were able to offer some comfort through slits in the barn. We witnessed many animals in distress, including two sheep who appeared quite sick. The goats we saw were just babies who were scared and didn't know why they were there :( Auctions are hell on earth for animals, and another location where there torture takes place."
London Ontario Animal Save witnessed baby chickens crammed in the crates more than usual. "They chirp, they call out. They're scared, they don't know what's happening, but they can tell that something's very wrong."

Orizaba Animal Save report from their participation at the vigil with CDMX Animal Save on October 5: "We saw a truck full of pigs before entering the slaughterhouse and being murdered. It is sad not to be able to save them but it is very important to be there for them. Join our next vigil and take action for the animals!"
Knoxville Animal Save had a table at the second annual Scruffy City VeganFest. They raised funds to donate to rescued pigs.
Minneapolis Animal Save report from their October 3 vigil: "Right outside Quality 'Pork' Processor, aka a Hormel slaughterhouse, where they kill 1,300 pigs every HOUR."
Las Vegas Animal Save holds vigil for chickens and ducks. "10 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip is where this happens. The photos of the animal individuals were taken at Highland 'Poultry', whose supplier is Marys Organic Chicken, known for their 'high quality organic meat.'”
