Livekindly: Joaquin Phoenix Releases New Must-See Animal Rights Documentary The Animal People, an animal rights documentary executive produced by Joaquin Phoenix, premiered at the Austin Film Festival.The Animal People shows “what happens when activism rattles the institutions of power.” It features interviews with six members of the American arm of British animal rights group Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty. Interviews took place over the course of more than a decade.

As part of the Climate Save Germany Tour, on November 4 Cologne Climate Save, Essen Climate Save & the new Dortmund Climate Save held a Planet V$ Cargill action agains Cargill in Cologne, Germany. The goal was to draw attention to Cargill's harmful work via a kind of art performance, as well as to show videos of environmental destruction and animal farming on screens and hand out flyers. Thanks to everyone who helped and participated.
The study World Scientists’ Warning of a Climate Emergency was published in the journal Bioscience. "Scientists have a moral obligation to clearly warn humanity of any catastrophic threat and to “tell it like it is.” On the basis of this obligation and the graphical indicators presented below, we declare, with more than 11,000 scientist signatories from around the world, clearly and unequivocally that planet Earth is facing a climate emergency."
The European Commission has signed a Free Trade deal with Brazil and MERCOSUR on June 28, 2019, giving a green light to destruction and exploitation of the Amazon rainforest for the production of cheap meat and animal feed.
This agreement needs European Parliament approval to become law so now is our chance to prevent it!

New Jersey Climate Save Movement held a park cleanup on October 26. "We removed 15 bags of trash, 1 bicycle, 1 sled, 119 liquor bottles😱 ⚠️ and other miscellaneous trash OUT of the park's forest."
Windsor Ontario Climate Save held an outreach event outside the University of Windsor on October 30. Organizer Brenda LaFleshe wrote: "Gave out over a hundred vegan outreach flyers & starter kits. The students were overall very supportive.. Many stating they were on the way to going vegan . Got a lot of thank yous and honks of support from the cars."

OUR MISSION Ditch Dairy SAVE Lives aims to encourage Save groups (existing and new) to hold vigils outside of dairy farms or factories incorporating outreach. Groups can also do outreach outside of establishments retailing large amounts of dairy products.
MARKED FOR DEATH
These two babies were saved from slaughter. They are considered useless to the goat dairy industry because they are boys and will never produce milk. The red marks on their foreheads are their death sentence.
- Animal Liberation Victoria
Sydney Animal Save worked with Animal Liberation, Coalition for the Protection of Racehorses, Animal Liberation Queensland and Animal Save Australia to hold a vigil at Burns Pet Food. Following the ABC's shocking "7.30 Report" exposé revealing the horror that occurs within the Burns knackery, Australia was outraged. For the first time, it became impossible to deny the killing of ex-racehorses. Burns was also recently charged for animal cruelty to cows and sheep.

Finland Fur Animal Save held an anti-fur demo on October 25 outside a large retailer. they report: "Today we held a demonstration in Turku outside Stockmann. Stockmann is one of the big Finnish companies that still sells animal fur: in addition to farmed fur, jackets from Canada Goose. We hope that Stockmann also decides to follow the example of Macy's in the USA and stop selling fur!"
Wittlich Pig Save bore witness to this sweet pig: "She was so beautiful, So brave and So damn protective of her friends and family who tried to come near us in innocent curiosity..."
Katrineholm Chicken Save report from their October 29 vigil: "Today we held a vigil outside Sweden's largest death factory - 1 million dead in a regular work week. We stood in front of the animal transport to get the opportunity to have some contact with the individuals in the transport. We look forward to the day when this and all other death factories are banned and closed."

Swansea Animal Save in Wales report from their vigil at Cig Avalon Cymru slaughter plant: "The stench was overwhelming and even more difficult to cope with than usual. Then the trucks started coming - all babies, tiny calves. So young, some of them must have been just days old."

Most animals slaughtered in the animal farming industry are just babies. Why would anyone want to support baby animal abuse?

Newfoundland Fur Animal Save report from their anti-fur event on November 2: "Today we had a demo in front of Natural Boutique. Now, everyone loves to talk about how nice Newfoundlanders are, but those people have not tried to stand against the seal hunt in Newfoundland. We were told to get a job, that we are uneducated, we were called names and told that our shoes support child labour (by people wearing the exact same shoes). Anyways, we weren't deterred in the least, and we will continue to stand up for animals!"
Brampton Chicken Save report from their October 25 vigil: "A few of the half a million chickens killed at Maple Lodge Farms today. It’s colder now and all of the trucks were fully covered. But the tarp on this one was rolled up about two inches - enough for us to bear witness and say goodbye to these precious babies. We’re so sorry. We love you. 💔"
Querétaro Animal Save held a vigil outside the municipal slaughter plant on October 17. They report: "We stopped some trucks and asked them to let us be with them for a moment. We gave them water (although most were scared and rejected us) and love."
Tampa Bay Animal Save report from their October 25 vigil at Dakin Dairy Farms: "Today we were able to bear witness at a huge dairy factory farm, where 4,400 cows are enslaved, exploited, and living in filthy, disgusting conditions. It's a 2,000-acre factory
farm that steals 70,000 gallons of milk from mothers who have their babies ripped from them after 48 hours. Please stop contributing to this violence. Ditch the dairy and go vegan. 💚 Please share."
Las Vegas Animal Save held a vigil for chickens on November 1, World Vegan Day. They report: "On this day and all others, for them, we are present, we are vigilant, and we are reminded (constantly) that the fight for their rights is far from over. While the world is full of problems, we believe and practice that with the power we have we can make decisions that do less harm to not only our fellow animals, the planet and ourselves. Veganism is the start."
