The Climate Save Movement
The Climate Save Movement is building a grassroots movement to solve the climate crisis by ending animal agriculture, reforesting the Earth and phasing out fossil fuels. Help save the planet by going vegan and
becoming active. The climate change crisis is upon us, and we must urgently rise to mitigate  and reverse it. The great news is that there are new Climate Save groups being formed all around the world!
Please welcome our new chapters:

Forbes: Animal Agriculture is Worse for the Climate Than Power Generation, Nobel Prize winner Steven Chu Says
"Chu lumped the greenhouse gas emissions from meat and dairy with other agricultural practices, such as fertilizer, and land-use changes, such as deforestation and soil disruption. He weighted the resulting greenhouse gases for lifetime and potency, showing that emissions from agriculture are a bigger problem than emissions from energy."

Kiel Animal Save report from their March 22 vigil: "Many pigs understand that something terrible is imminent, probably not concretely, but they feel the stress and the tension. They only know the narrowness, the darkness, the stench. And here you can see that even an animal can give up completely, feel something like hope -- and give up. Your money at the supermarket is responsible!"
Watch: Boxtel Pig Save give the pigs love and water at the Vion slaughter plant on April 1.
Kent Animal Save is now Kent Animal Defenders. They continue to hold live export protests at the Port of Ramsgate. These poor victims were seen during their March 22 vigil.

They held their first vigil on April 2. They report: "We arrived at the gates of the chicken slaughterhouse around 5:30 am, where thousands of innocents  are unjustly killed. We came to say goodbye with compassion; we ask for their forgiveness: forgiveness on behalf of humanity who mistakenly takes them as products, forgiveness for not being able to save them."
Cusco Animal Save went inside the slaughter plant during their vigil. Karol Marocho took this footage of a cow being dragged to the kill floor: "Days before our first vigil, activists managed to enter the facilities of the K'ayra slaughterhouse. What happens there may be legal, but it is not humane, much less fair. Don't finance this suffering. Live vegan 🌱"
Please also see images from their second vigil.

After the vigil, a banner drop over the very busy highway closed out the day.
Please watch: Vancouver Chicken Save bear witness to babies on a truck on March 30 outside the Hallmark slaughter plant.
2019 Women's March From Fearman's Slaughterhouse
May 12, 9 am – 2 pm. RSVP: event page
We will start the day with a vigil for the pigs. After bearing witness and leaving flowers and messages for the babies trapped inside the slaughterhouse, we will start marching to a park in downtown Burlington. We are marching to show our solidarity to the nonhuman females that have been oppressed by a patriarchy.
We aim to increase awareness and action so that all feminists include animals in their circle of compassion. Female animals are forcibly impregnated over and over and again until they are 'spent' and then sent to slaughter. These mother's have their babies stolen from them in order to satisfy human greed.
The new Save Latino Tour 2019 - México starts on April 8! Organizers Karol, Maureen and Adriana will visit these cities: Cancún, Playa del Carmen, Mérida, Veracruz, Puebla, Tepoztlán, Cuernavaca, Ciudad de México, Querétaro, Guadalajara, León, Aguascalientes, Durango, Saltillo, Monterrey and Chihuahua.
Watch: At Long Island Animal Save's March 23 vigil at Hempstead "Poultry" Farm, activist Amber Alicea captured the scene and reports: "This is all I could get before the slaughterhouse workers kicked us out. But even in this minute you can see the suffering and pain that these chickens go through. I wish we could have stayed longer to comfort them. 💔"

Please watch: Windsor-Detroit Farm Animal Save bore witness at Wolverine Packing Co. in Detroit on April 3. "Saying goodbye to the innocent victims of today's needless suffering. This is your Easter Sunday lamb. How can we look at animals who clearly do not want to die and continue to pay for their suffering?"

Donate Today!

Toronto Pig Save started in December 2010, with a promise to the pigs of doing a minimum of three vigils and vegan outreach events each week, all year round. We bear witness as a community of pigs, cows, chickens and other farmed animal victims in slaughterhouse trucks. The animals want us to be present and, with the most pleading eyes, ask for our help when we see them through the portholes of transport trucks. Just as if we were in those horrid trucks, we would want the whole community to be there fighting for our freedom, liberation, rights, and equality. In a way, we are there. All life is one and, “when (wo)men wish to harm others, they really do evil to themselves,” Leo Tolstoy said in his animal rights story “Esarhaddon, King of Assyria”. It’s our positive duty and obligation to act in the present to try to stop the most egregious injustices before us.
"When the suffering of another creature causes you to feel pain, do not submit to the initial desire to flee from the suffering one, but on the contrary, come closer, as close as you can to her who suffers, and try to help her.” – Leo Tolstoy
In 8 years, The Save Movement has grown to over 660 Save groups in 70 countries around the world. Our dream is to have regular vigils at every slaughter plant worldwide. We regularly give seed money to new Save groups and require funds for literature, posters, subway ad campaigns ( and vegan outreach events.
Make animal liberation your priority in life! Think of 10 kind things you can do each day and encourage your friends to do the same! Join us and participate in our weekly vigils, start a Save group in your community, and be a regular donor.
