St. John’s Farm Animal Save's November 18 vigil outside Country Ribbon slaughter plant was covered by the local news. Organizer Murray Noseworthy was quoted as saying the vigil was for the 50,000 chickens that are slaughtered there every day. "It’s important to raise awareness that chickens—just like cats and dogs—are sentient."
OUR MISSION TheClimate Save Movementis building a grassroots movement to solve the climate crisis by ending animal agriculture, reforesting the Earth and phasing out fossil fuels. Help save the planet by going vegan and promoting vegan #FoodSystemChangeNow! The climate crisis is upon us. We must rise up to mitigate and reverse it.
Don't Eat The Amazon
Every time you enter McDonald's you could be eating a bite of Amazon rainforest.
HEARTBREAKING KOALA RESCUE
A woman rescued a koala caught in the middle of a fire in Australia. The woman used her shirt to wrap the badly burned animal and offered the desperate animal water from a bottle.
We are sad to report that the rescued koala, names Lewis, unfortunately has died of his injuries sustained in the fire. Staff at the Port Macquarie koala hospital said that the burns were too severe for him to survive.
In happier news, this little koala named Sootie is on the mend after surviving Australia’s massive bushfires.
This 2-minute PeTA video explains all you need to know about the ethical implications of what we eat.
The European Commission has signed a Free Trade deal with Brazil and MERCOSUR on June 28, 2019, giving a green light to destruction and exploitation of the Amazon rainforest for the production of cheap meat and animal feed.
This agreement needs European Parliament approval to become law so now is our chance to prevent it!
