Dr Xiujian Peng is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre of Policy Studies (CoPS), Victoria University (VU). She has extensive experience in the development and application of computable general equilibrium (CGE) models. Dr. Peng is responsible for the CoPS research on China's economy. She has led and completed many research projects which cover various economic issues in China. Her recent article published in The Conversation China’s population is about to shrink for the first time since the great famine struck 60 years ago.
