Hybrid Event: The Mid-Autumn Festival & the ultimate guide to enjoy the full moon

Please note that this event is hybrid now! Join us for an IN-PERSON morning tea including mooncake tasting at Level 10, VU City Tower campus! 

The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, is one of the most important holidays in Chinese culture. The history of the Mid-Autumn Festival dates back over 3,000 years. On this day, the Chinese believe that the Moon is at its brightest and fullest size, coinciding with harvest time in the middle of Autumn. Join us for another culture talk on 8 September 2022 to learn more about the upcoming Moon Festival and explore how the modern Chinese community enjoy the moon! Another event you don't want to miss!

Date: Thursday 8 September, 2022
In-person: 10.30–11.30 am AEST, Level 10, VU City Tower Campus
Online: 1.00-1.45 pm AEST (Zoom link will be emailed to you when closer to date)
Cost: FREE

Note: Traditional Chinese mooncakes and light morning tea will be available for the in-person event.
