Yearning and Promise
A VIDEO MEDITATION FOR ADVENT
This video explores Advent and the expectant longing for the birth of Christ through cityscapes, wilderness, and water, with scriptures drawn from Isaiah 40 and Matthew 1. The sound is in Swahili with subtitles in English, Spanish, Mandarin, and Korean—a poetic way to represent the many languages spoken throughout the church.

This is part of a series from Fuller Studio in California. These video meditations rely on nature to tell the story of God, accompanied by scriptures traditional to each season.
Rev. Ralph Ingleby
Rev. Ingleby passed away in November. Heserved our congregation from 1974-1984, and many have kind memories of his time with us. You can read Ralph's obituary here.
Inverhaugh Community Foodgrains Bank Project
THANKS TO ALL WHO MADE THIS YEAR ANOTHER SUCCESS!
This year we had 29.15 tons of wheat and raised $8894. We also harvested straw worth $2128. With cash donations added, we gave $15,540 to The Canadian Foodgrains Bank. The Federal government matches donations 4 to 1 on most projects.

Over the years, this project has raised $185,390!

A big thank you to all:
  • Ken & Elizabeth Musselman donated the land
  • Ken did the tillage, field work and planting
  • Scott Sinclair prepared a dedication and each church shared it virtually
  • Ross Gammie covered the fertilizer cost
  • Steve Lake and Pioneer donated the seed
  • Grandridge Farms supplied herbicide and spraying
  • Lavon, Blondeview Farms combined the crop and donated the trucking
  • Dale, Springview Holsteins donated straw baling costs
  • Lavon, Blondeview Farms bought the straw
  • Inverhaven Farms payed for combining
  • Marketed at Rosendale Farms Ltd
  • A cover crop was planted
  • Ken and Elizabeth hosted a harvest thanksgiving afternoon
  • Fran for doing the book work and keeping track of this project for us
Sincerely the Inverhaugh Community Foodgrains committee
